A pair of lateral shaping boards worn at the flanks and held by a wide elastic hook-and-loop band that passes around the abdomen. The boards apply flat, even compression at the waistline and hold the garment's shape over the flanks after liposuction. Universal size, black. Who is it for? The recovery period after liposuction of the waist, the flanks and the sides of the back, and after body contouring where the waistline is the area that matters most. It is used when softening the pressure with a pliable pad is not enough and a firm surface is wanted to keep the lateral area flat. How is it worn? Each board is placed on its own flank, then the elastic band is wrapped around the abdomen and closed at the required tension, so the two boards stay in place without needing a garment to hold them. It can be worn under an abdominal or full-body garment where the surgeon recommends it. The elastic band should be hand-washed and dried in the shade to preserve its stretch and the strength of the closure. What sets it apart from its neighbours? LP-407 is the only item in the board range that comes with its own fixing system.
