01Why wear compression after liposuction
A medical garment gently supports the treated area, helps reduce swelling, and keeps you more comfortable through the early weeks of recovery.

After liposuction the tissue is tender and swollen. Compression applies even, steady pressure that supports the body and helps the skin settle to its new contour, while limiting fluid build-up and bruising. Wear it for the duration your surgeon advises · they know your case best.
02How long do you wear the garment?
Your surgeon sets the duration. The general pattern is near-continuous wear in the first weeks, then a gradual reduction in daily hours.

In the first weeks the garment is usually worn for most of the day, removed only to shower and to wash it. From there the daily hours come down gradually as swelling subsides, and the whole period can run from a few weeks to around two months depending on the size of the treated area and the procedure. Treat these as general figures only · your schedule comes from your surgeon, so do not stop early or extend it on your own. Keep two pieces so you can rotate while one is washed.
03How to choose the right size
Accurate measurement is the foundation of comfort and benefit. Measure your waist, chest and hip with a soft tape, and let the Size Finder guide you.

Measure standing relaxed, the tape level and snug but not tight. Waist at its narrowest, chest at its fullest, hip at its widest point. The right garment holds firmly without restricting breathing or leaving deep marks. When between two sizes, ask our team.

Putting it on well ensures even compression and a better result. Take your time, smooth the fabric, and avoid folds or sudden pulling.

Start low, ease the garment gently over the hips, then draw it up gradually. Smooth the fabric with both hands so it lies flat against the skin without twists or creases. Check that pressure is even and that zippers or hooks sit straight. Never yank · gentle handling protects healing skin.
05Caring for and washing your garment
Gentle care keeps the garment elastic and effective for longer. Hand-wash with a mild detergent and let it air-dry.

Hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent; avoid bleach and softeners, which weaken the fibres and affect the Active Silver treatment. Press out water gently without wringing, then lay it flat to dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Skip the tumble dryer. Owning two pieces lets you rotate and wash without a gap.
06BBL recovery: protecting your results
The post-BBL phase is delicate. Use a recovery pillow, avoid sitting directly, and follow your surgeon’s instructions closely.

To protect the transferred fat, avoid sitting or lying directly on the buttocks during the first weeks. When needed, use a recovery pillow to relieve pressure and shift it to the thighs. Wear the dedicated garment that leaves the buttock area open. These are general tips · always follow your surgeon’s protocol.
07Lipedema and daily compression
Gentle, consistent compression is a core part of day-to-day lipedema management, supporting comfort and movement over the long term.

For those living with lipedema, gentle daily compression can support the legs and ease the feeling of heaviness. Choose a piece with a suitable compression level and wear it as part of your daily routine. This is not a substitute for medical care · coordinate with your doctor on the plan that fits you.
